Hello,

I have followed all instructions for the pay pal integration, but all orders remain payment_processing after a succesfull paypal payment.

I can see the postback being done in the paypal website, so it looks like magento is just not processing this postback correctly.

Tried fixes posted on http://sergiy.kyrylkov.name/blog/2010/05/payment-problems-in-magento-paypal-standard-with-ipn-after-upgrade-from-1-3-x-to-1-4-0-1/ with no result.

Also tried to replace the paypal module in the core with version 1.4.2 since I can see some changes in the files.. this had no result either.

Please help, since I now have manually change the status of the payment in the database to get goods shipped by our fullfilment company.

I could not get the payment to post back from paypal after capturing payment via the paypal site. However, when I invoice the PENDING order directly in Magento, you can complete the order by “CAPTURE ONLINE” to initiate the payment capture in paypal. It appears to not work backwards vie the paypal site. Maybe that will clear up your troubles.

I think that is not resolving my issue. It still asks for my fullfilment partner to actually evaluate the payment before shipping the order, which they will not do.

The situation should be that the paypall order is either cancelled or processing, but not pending payment..  I can\’t get it to work and I am surprised not many more people are having this issue..
