Cache or Compilation Error

Hi All, I need some help please.

We were just cutting our server over to live, and I enabled cache, and Compilation.

Refreshed the site and got this error on front and back end:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class Zend_Cache_Backend_ExtendedInterface in /home/web/public_html/includes/src/Zend/Cache/Backend/ExtendedInterface.php on line 34

I have tried to disable the cache inthe DB directly, by changing all the core_cache_option values from 1 to 0

I have also tried to disable Compilation in Core_config_data:
advanced/modules_disable_output/Mage_Compiler to 1 from 0.

I have also changed Fooman speedster to False.

I have also manually cleared my /var/cache and /var/minifycache directories.

All of these have not helped at all.  I am getitng desperate.

Appericiate any help, thanks
Greg

I’m sitting with the same problem, did you manage to resolve this issue?

Same issue I’m having as well - if you want to get back into things edit includes/config.php, and comment out both define statements.

#define('COMPILER_INCLUDE_PATH', dirname(__FILE__).DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR.'src');
#define('COMPILER_COLLECT_PATH', dirname(__FILE__).DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR.'stat');

A pain keeping compilation disabled though for performance issues though.  This is on version 1.4.1.1

Fix is just to comment out the include statements in lib/Zend/Cache/Backend/Memcache.php

/**
 * @see Zend_Cache_Backend_Interface
 */
#require_once 'Zend/Cache/Backend/ExtendedInterface.php';

/**
 * @see Zend_Cache_Backend
 */
#require_once 'Zend/Cache/Backend.php';
