Why doesn’t speedster generates an unique CSS/JS filename instead of including the file names of the merged files in the combined output? SpeedsterEnterprise does so…
Yes that’s one of the differences between Speedster and SpeedsterEnterprise. The file src of the combined css/js files is timestamped so it is unique. The way Speedster is set up it allows to gzip and add content expiry headers even on servers which don’t have gzip or mod_expires support.

Hi! thank you for the answer. I’ve tried the entreprise version, but somehow it behaved differently, causing problems in the CSS… any special reason for that? The Entreprise version has everything “normal” version has, plus some particular features?

Please post a bug report for your specific problem in the SpeedsterEnterprise forum. The two versions are targeted at different server setups please refer to the SpeedsterEnterprise extension description for details.
