I tried to import from a large csv file and noticed many cells didn’t show up in my product catalog after being imported, and then after reviewing the process I realized all the cells that had different case (let’s say red instead of Red) were the ones that were not imported.

I think this might give a lot of trouble for very large imports and product catalogs and could potentially spoil the layered navigation filters experience.

Anybody else having experiences with this and any ideas on how to fix this?

ps. sorry for the english grin

I made an import a few weeks ago.
First I created the attributes with their own values.
My csv files has that values with different case nad it doesn’t import.
I supouse, that the answer it’s “yes”.
I think that Magento Dataflow compare if the value match exactly with the database value and then, apply the interal id.
