Magento

This issue might be simple for some users.  We have been running a medium sized off-line sports memorabilia collection business.  Most of the inventory, costs, prices, descriptions are done in excel spreadsheets.  We are now launching a Magento website and possibly opening a new physical store in the next 12mths.

What type of offline inventory/CMS system should we be using that can easily work with our Magento store?  Do we need to customize a solution?  What type of expert should we be outsourcing to?  Anybody know of any good consultants in this type of issue?
