Missing the pdo_mysql extension

Okay, two questions. Running the magento-check.php, I’m encountering the following errors:
* You need MySQL 4.1.20 (or greater)
* You are missing the pdo_mysql extension
I’m running windows XP, PHP 5.2 and MySQL 5.. I’ve made several PHP applications utilizing MySQL, so is it just saying this to make me aware of what version I need, or is there really something wrong?

Pertaining to the pdo_mysql extension, I’ve been having a huge problem and after asking on several forums, no one can seem to figure out whats wrong. In the Apache error log, I’m receiving the following error each time i restart the server:
Error Log: PHP Warning:

PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library ‘C:\\php\\ext\\php_pdo_mysql.dll’ - The specified procedure could not be found.\r\n in Unknown on line 0.

I’m not sure why this is so, considering I have the .dll loaded into the C:\PHP\ext directory.
Here’s my php.ini extensions:

And here’s what phpinfo() is displaying:

PDO drivers sqlite
PECL Module version 1.0.1 $Id: pdo_sqlite.c,v 2007/12/31 07:20:10 sebastian Exp $
SQLite Library 3.3.7undefined
mysql.allow_persistent On On
mysql.connect_timeout 60 60
mysql.default_host no value no value
mysql.default_password no value no value
mysql.default_port no value no value
mysql.default_socket no value no value
mysql.default_user no value no value
mysql.max_links Unlimited Unlimited
mysql.max_persistent Unlimited Unlimited
mysql.trace_mode Off Off

Any help would be greatly appreciated - I’ve been trying different things for more than a week now and I’m about to reinstall everything and start from scratch.. which I’d rather not have to do. Thanks! Also, I attached my php.ini
