I tried to upload an xml file for a user and it wouldn’t work. Are attachments only allowing images and zip files, or what’s the deal with that? I hadn’t testing any images yet. Maybe I’ll test on here.

...Okay, nope. Pictures (even under 500KB) aren’t working either.

We’ll take care of it.

I still can’t upload PNG attachments…

No error comes back, just the same page where you can edit your post.

I’m trying to upload a very small byte PNG (73kb) that is a very large chart, 2061x1377 pixels.  If I save it as a jpeg it grows to about 458 kb.  I’ve tried uploading the jpeg, and scaling the image down by 80% and 50%.  The original png is only 8bit, when I resize or convert it to jpeg the resulting png or jpg is 16bit, this is why the file size increases so much.

EDIT:
I must’ve been too sleepy when resizing.  It seems to work at 2000 pixels wide (97% reduction).

But it still fails with no error message and without posting your comment if your image is too large (pixel-wise).  Either that or the PNG was constructed in some way that your image resizer cannot open it.
