Thanx,
It really is magento.
We are using some 3rd party apps as well.
Scene7 from adobe for image serving, NetSuite for CRM.
Netsuite controls the orders and communication with the client during the fulfilment process.
We also fouund a nice address validation/correction tool from ServiceObjects.
Last piece is the Channel Advisor api for...channel management and inventory control.
Hi tcarw,
The shoefinder is a completely customized ajax drill down.
As far as the 3rd party apps, our client already had contracts in place with those providors.
We had to make it work.
Some nice work has gone into this. One thought I had was the zoom feature feels a bit limited maybe make the magnifying square a little bigger. I am in the process of doing a custom build with Magento too so would like to keep in touch with you as you’re much further down the line. One thing I am definitely going to do is have live chat which I see you already have. Have you sorted the bug problem - if not give us a shout see what my developer can do.
@Bacca: Your site looks really nice. The loading times are a little bit high, but that is probably an optimization issue of Magento. I really like that the visitor can select multiple attibutes in the “shoe finder” (e.g. you can select multiple brands). Can you tell me how you did that?
