Does anyone know how many products Magento can handle?

Would 100.000 be a problem?

Well, I “only” have 32k (simple) products on my magento but for 12 sites, around 15k activated per website, so around 180000 products to deal with, and there is no problem. Well, almost. I just reindexed the url, and:

time php /***/shell/indexer.php --reindex catalog_url
Catalog URL Rewrites index was rebuilt successfully

real 3116m48.692s
user 2940m29.026s
sys 168m18.107s

So more than 2 days to perform it -___-

But that’s it. It runs pretty well on a 4x 2.66+ GHz 8GB DDR3. Hopefully.

AFAIK, there is no such limitation on no until and unless the db size < ~4GB.

Sorry? What\’s about that limitation?
Our DB is around 5.2G, and we have absolutely no problem with it!
