This may seem like a silly question, but I believe there used to be an option for the administrator of the website to receive an email when a new order is placed. Is this pushed into a setting, removed or hidden somewhere else? I just can’t seem to find it. Thanks!
Try System->configuration, then on the left - Sales/Sales Emails. The first section is “Order” - exactly what you looking for.
Add your email (or several, comma separated) in field “Send Order Email Copy To”
