Hi team,

I was plugging away fine updating my CSS and updating some files but when i tried to update the login.php (found here mysite/app/design/frontend/base/default/template/checkout/onepage/login.php) it doesn\’t work.

I can download the file OK via FTP, but uploading it via the same FTP gets the below extract from Filezilla:

Status:  Starting upload of C:\\Users\\xx\\Desktop\\login.phtml
Command:  PASV
Response:  227 Entering Passive Mode (195,210,38,69,137,143).
Command:  STOR login.phtml
Response:  550 login.phtml: Permission denied
Error:  Critical file transfer error

Why do I have permission to download not upload?

When I look at the file manager in my Direct Admin (i\’m using a shared host), its weird as this file and quite a few others have a GID and UID of APACHE and some have a GID and UID of my username. The ones with my username I can upload and replace, the ones with APACHE i can\’t.

Can any one help me? I\’ll give you chocolate fish! smile
