Please i am looking for where the variables are stored, or what to do .

In the header template of the default theme that comes with magento 1.6,

here is the code[code
]<div class="header-top">
<h1 id="logo"><a href="<?php echo $this->getUrl('') ?>"><img src="<?php echo $this->getLogoSrc() ?>” alt="<?php echo $this->getLogoAlt() ?>” /></a></h1>
<p class="no-display"><a href="#main"><strong><?php echo $this->__('Skip to Main Content') ?> »</strong></a></p>
<?php echo $this->getChildHtml('topSearch') ?>
<div class="quick-access">
<?php echo $this->getWelcome() ?><br />
<div class="shop-access">
<?php echo $this->getChildHtml('topLinks') ?>
</div>
<?php echo $this->getChildHtml('store_language') ?>
</div>
</div>

As you can see from the code, the php is calling these varriables, but i dont know where they are.
for example i am trying to change the default logo (i know i can do that from the images folder but i dont wont to) its calling the logo id="logo"><a href="<?php echo $this->getUrl(’’)
but where is the info in the “getUrl(’’) variable ?
is there like a master sheet ?
am i seeing this the wrong way?

thanks in advance

Your logo can you set in through the Admin section via tabs System -> Configuration -> Design ->Header wink

If you need hard coding, it is possible in head.phtml

The methods are coming from class Mage_Page_Block_Html_Header.

Hope this will help you,

Best Regards,
John
