Last evening I finally updated files beyond 1.0 that were in Magento Connect. All at one time. Dumb, I guess, but what’s done is done.
I have one series of errors having to do with displaying the price of an item, be it on the category page, product page, wishlist, compare page, cart or checkout. Here is the error, with final file destinations differing, depending on what is being called up:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method Mage_Catalog_Helper_Product::getPriceHtml() in /home/*ID*/public_html/magento/app/design/frontend/*interface*/*store*/template/wishlist/view.phtml on line 51.
When the error message displays right where the price should show, nothing else comes up beyond the error message—just a blank page. Is there some code missing here in every spot the Mage_Catalog_Helper_Product::getPriceHtml () appears in the design coding?
Edit to add: Line 51 above reads:
<?php echo $this->helper('catalog/product')->getPriceHtml($item) ?>
