We are having difficulties with the newsletter function. Both 1.1.4 and 1.1.6 versions won’t give us any way to delete a newsletter from the queue. Is there a way to do this?

Can you delete it directly from the database? This is how I removed a guest subscriber who had unsubscribed from the list in the admin section, there is no option to delete them in admin/newsletter_subscriber

Cheers

Any response on this??

The only option I ever have in my queue since cancelling a newsletter is preview… I am hoping if I delete them it might reset… not that it actually allowed me to send a newsletter....

I’d also be really interested to hear a solution? If there isn’t one I’d like to know that too so I can make one myself and share it.

Thanks!

Currently there is no way to delete a queued email.  There is a bug submitted for this, but in the meantime you can delete the scheduled email directly in the database.

If you have phpmyadmin you should go to the database:

In the table “newsletter_queue” you will find any scheduled newsletters.
In the table “newsletter_queue_link” you will find the connection between subscribers and queued newsletters.

Delete any rows of newsletter you do not wish to send in newsletter_queue and remember the “queue_id”
Delete all rows with corresponding “queue_id” in newsletter_queue_link.

If you don’t have the courage to delete the queue in question, just set the status to 3 - this wil state that the newsletter was already sent (without sending out any emails).

Hope this helps!

Hi,

If you want to delete Newsletter Template,Queue then go to the database where you install your magento database open this table “newsletter_problem”, “newsletter_queue”, “newsletter_queue_link”, “newsletter_queue_store_link”, “newsletter_template”. Delete all the record from this table. now you can see from your admin panel your all Template and all queue have gone.

Hope this will help you!!

Thanks
