Hi Everyone,

I have implemented jqZoom for my products images in magento.

It is working fine with firefox / IE7 but in IE8 it is not working fine.

In lens of image it capture image and drag to whole image, it is not smooth. It may be any problem with ZIndex.

Can anyone help me to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Riti

Hi Riti,

I came across a similar problem when I implemented jqZoom. You may have already solved this but maybe helpful to others with a similar problem. I found it was to do with the zoomType:’reverse’ option. If you disable this option it should work fine.

I will let you know if I find a work around for this.

We were having the same issue. We found that it was an issue with jQuery’s width() and height() function in IE8.  As a fix, in the jqzoom js file, we replaced all instances of

$(this).width() //and $(this).height()
with
this.offsetWidth //and this.offsetHeight
