I had previously given my home page the identifier store-home, and selected the page in System/Config/Web/Default Pages.
After upgrading, I decided to rename the identfier index.html. I knew I needed to go back to System/Config to respecify the page. I did so. Saved the change. No problem.
But when I go to my store, I get “CMS NOT FOUND.”
I cleared all caches. I disabled all caches. I re-saved the preference in System/Config. But problem persists.
I renamed the home page back to store-home, re-selected it in System/Config, and all is fine again. (i.e. I’m back where I started.)
But I SHOULD be able to change the identifier and system-wide this change should be accepted.
p.s. This problem is not specific to “index.html”—I tried changing the identifier to “home” but again it rejects any attempt to change the previously established CMS home page identifier.
