After importing some products recently I am getting some very strange URLs.

For the 700 products or so that were in my system, the URLs were rendering like this:

but for the 400 I just imported they now look like this:

Can anyone tell me why this is?

Did you turn off url rewrites?

I have exactly the same problem, again ONLY on the imported products.

Anyone have any ideas on this ?

Being a bit of a non techie, I had a look around in the database, and it seems to me that the new URL’s are not in the core_url_rewrite table, but the manually added products are?

Anyone care to comment, or suggest a fix?

Did you try to ask the system to rewrite all the catalog url ?
In the Admin Panel, “System” - “Cache Management” - “Catalog Rewrites” then click “Rewrite”
