How do I know if an upgrade was successful?

I have updated with a full upload via ftp.  I deleted the cache and sessions and visited a page.  Looks the same and the number at the bottom of the page still says 1.1.3?  The demo site is the same way, but I am not sure they upgraded yet?

anyone else have an idea how to check if the upgrade was successful?

Thanks, e.

I thought it through and answered my own question.  We (Magento Store Owners) would probably not like to show people that sites are unpatched with a security issue.  This is possibly why Magento does not show the 1.1.4 updated version in the footer.

Is there a something in the control panel that shows what version we are running.  Let me know.  Even OScommerce has this function.  I can’t find it in Magento.

I’m not shure if you are asking this, but inside admin area you can see the magento version, at the very bottom.

Hope this helps.
