we are currently under discussion in the german forum about the inventory allocation-feature you’ve written about in your roadmap, comming in beta 2. More precisely we talk about using magento in the textile sector. Will it be possible to define the inventory allocation for some given attributes, first and foremost the color? Will it be possible to define how many red shirts of articel #45785 are on hand for example?

Anyway: The guys in german forum are talking about some features. in fact of the above case they are interested in your concept of “allocation” and looking forward to your reply.
