Hello,

Is it possible to have multiple manufacturer attributes. For example if I have a category called t-shirts with 3 brands/manufacturers and a category called pants with 3 OTHER brands/manufacturers, is it possible to use two different lists of manufacturers for every category?

- T-shirts
-- manufacturer 1
-- manufacturer 2
-- manufacturer 3

- Pants
-- manufacturer 4
-- manufacturer 5
-- manufacturer 6

Or does it have to be 1 list for all categories, even if some of them do not manufacture pants or t-shirts?

Sounds like you need to make some attribute sets.
Create an attribute like shirt_manufacturer and another for pants_manufacturer.
Then create attribute sets: one for Shirt and one for Pants.
To the Shirt attribute set add the shirt specific attributes you created, like shirt_manufacturer (and others like shirt_size and shirt_fabric...).
The Pant attribute set gets the pants specific attributes like pants_manufacturer and any others like pants_size and pants_length.
