Dropdown attributes in Advanced Search Form

If a dropdown attribute is enabled in advanced search form, all the possible options of that attribute will be available for user to select from. I would like to know how to setup that attribute so that the user doesn’t need to specify its value for the search. For example. the “color” attribute has (blue, black, red, yellow) 4 options. The user should be able to make a search without selecting any of the colors, since he may want to search for all available colors for product named “abc”. Right now the problem is that once a color has been selected, there’s no way to reverse this action (either select a blank option, or a “search all” option). Please advice how to fix this problem.

Thank you very much.
