We do plan on adding Oracle support in future versions.

Now would seem to be a good time to plan for adding Oracle support, especially with table names that exceed the 30 character limit of Oracle, rather than waiting for a future version to disclose the rework that would be required.  Here are just 2 examples: the table name ‘catalog_product_entity_tier_price’ is 33 characters long which is not compatible with Oracle, nor is the associated Foreign Key constraint name ‘FK_CATALOG_PRODUCT_ENTITY_TIER_PRICE_ATTRIBUTE’ which is 46 characters long, exceeding the limit by 16 characters.

Hi Mike,

We are aware of these limitations and will try to review and fix all the things like you mentioned above.

Please let me know if you have any other issues.

Thank you,
Michael.

Hi,

i am interesting also for Oracle support.
Do you know where this version will be delivered?

Actually i am also trying to find a developer that i can trust to make the connection with Oracle.

Let me know if someone is interesting.

Thanks !
