I changed the admin url and now my admin pages are screwed up.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

Sorry to hear that. I myself don’t know how to fix this problem you are having. Hopefully a Magento developer or admin knows a solution.

I can’t believe there are so many people asking the same question on this forum. Why did they put a function in there that will NOT work??!!

I was screwed second time over.

But now I can access the admin panel. Dunno if these will work for others. I replaced my app/etc whole folder with an untouched original app/etc folder and deleted my current sql table, installed a backup file and it worked. But I have to log in through the new admin url that I changed to in the first place, not yourdomain.com/admin.

I tried other methods mentioned but didn’t work.
