This extension simply kills your store and throws up 500 errors with no way to fix. Get rid of this!

Yes ... it did the same to mine except I was able to get the site back because I backed it up.

Having said that, I am sure this plugin only needs positive feedback to tweak it until it works

Good work so far lads, hope to see some more suggestions on how to fix problematic hosting sites that seem to stop access to the site with error messages. 
Mine is a shared hosting site and I tried appending .htaccess however I didn’t change the permissions back as one member suggested

Looking forward to more on this as the plugin is a great concept and needed by those who are intending to keep upgraded while using Magento in production
