I have problem with https (SSL). If call uri https://www.luzkoviny.eu/dev/magento/admin/ so
Firefox reporting “Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.”
I don’t know where’s problem, please help. Thanks a lot.
This worked frontend for me, but not backend - but I know why. Guess I’ll have to check the ‘use secure for backend’ in the config as well as frontend if anyone cares
EDIT: Strangely, it was already correct but not liking it. Changing the value for ‘web/secure/use_in_adminhtml’ (ID 387 in core_config_data) to a ‘0’ made it accessible over https and fixed my problem!?!
UPDATE `magento`.`core_config_data` SET `value` = '0' WHERE `core_config_data`.`config_id` =387;
So anyhow, apparently telling magento not to use secure URLs in the admin lets you do exactly the opposite.
