Also what is the compatability with Joomla 1.5? Any plans on integrating in the future?
Has there been any scripts developed to integrate the admin panel functions between the two?

Being from the Joomla community, most are quite happy with virtue. I just find Joomla far too large for this purpose and would prefer to keep Magento/commerce and joomla/information seperate and apart. Honestly, the two have two different purposes. If it must be on the same site, I will grimace and go back to virtuemart like the Good Joomla t-shirt wearing developer I am.

There is no point to a licensing flame war or arguments to spill over Open Liscense vs’ this version of GPL or that vs. Creative Commons. I will just suffice it to say, Magento is a great and awesome software in its own right, on the other end, so is Joomla, but eventually your swiss army knife has too many blades and you just need a simple butcher knife grin

Hope you liked my alliteration,

tim.
