Ok.. I did something stupid via SSH when I tried to chown some of my files (needed to change ownership from root to a different user)..

After that.. I get this error everywhere:

WarningUnknownopen(/home/kmg/public_html/shop/var/session/sess_f9fce37e170c9c1155d37851a324314aO_RDWRfailedPermission denied (13in Unknown on line 0

Warning
UnknownFailed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/home/kmg/public_html/shop/var/sessionin Unknown on line 0

I didn’t change any permissions, but just to be safe I redid the SSH permissions (o+w on var var/session/ .htaccess .. etc.)

Is there something I need to do to reset the cache?  I tried deleted cache files and session files, any other suggestion?

Ok Fixed.  had to manually fix permissions on var/sessions.

Note to all (as if this needs to be said...)

Be VERY careful with your permissions and what you do via SSH.

Don’t start editing before coffee, caffeine, or slap in the face. Preferably all 3.  Just wakeup first.
