Can’t find Template Path Hinting option

I’ve seen a few tutorials that mention a feature called Template Path Hinting that displays all the template paths for the page you are on. It’s supposed to be under System > Configuration > Developer > Debug, but the only option that shows up there is the Profiler.

I’ve just upgraded to Version 1.1.3.

Does anyone have any idea why this option is not available? Has it been moved?

I think they changed the name of it. look in systems/configuration/developer. in the backend admin section. it is the line that says “Translate line” should say yes to enable those little hints on the pages.

I hope this helps as I had a hard time finding it too.

Hi there, when you are in the configuration screen you need to change
Current Configuration Scope to the actual store.

When you then navigate to System > Configuration > Developer > Debug the template hints option will be available.

@FOOMAN: Thanks! That did the trick. The Template Hinting option is simple not available in the Default Config scope.
