I have changed the theme to Modern, and it works ok.
Now I want to change the look of the header. I go to :
and edit header.phtml . doing some changes and save.
refresh the main page - it works.
now I want to do the same to the footer. at the same location, I edit the file footer.phtml.
nothing happens. the footer at the front end remains the same, no matter what I do.
The solution was to go to admin, cache, select “refresh”, and click save. seems like everything is saved somewhere in cache,
and unless you refresh it, you still see the old version. I tried all kinds of refresh, including going to another computer that never saw this url.
looks like it is saved on the server, not the client. What I can’t explain, though, is why didn’t this problem occur for the header, and only for the footer?
