Hi All -

I am trying to get table rates to work. I can get the tablerates.csv to upload with out errors, and I enable table rates...however, they don’t seem to be showing up when I test purchasing a product!

I have tested in .9, 1.0 and 1.1.2 and get the same problem - which leads me to believe that I am missing some sort of configuration option??

Additionally, at no time does the table “shipping_tablerates” appear to be populating with any info! I thought the DB issues with this were cleared up in later versions! (esp 1.1.2)!

Any one know what I might be missing?

You are correct in saying that they should appear in that table. I don’t know why they are not being loaded though. Sorry!

do they not show up at the checkout or are you not getting a quote on the cart-page?

Perhaps a file permissions issue? That doesn’t really make sense if Qwerky already uploaded the file successfully and without errors...I think…

I was under the impression that this is something that only effects checkout?

I was thinking the same as nikefido with the file permissions, but I’m not sure why it would upload the read it correctly but then not import to the database if it gives no errors…

Also, GUI, they are not showing up in either. Why would it show up in the Cart area in any case? (Sry for my ignorance if it should be showing up there)

I got it to work fine!

It seem that the only thing I did differently was:

1) Made a notepad file to create the .csv file (and refused to open it in EXCEL - i made a copy and opened that in excel to make sure it was correct formatting)
2) Set the “sort order” which I had not set before (seems to be a likely culprit to me)
3) Made unique names for the table rates

That seemed to do it!
