In my default installation, the quantity text box is always empty. Shouldn’t it be 1 by default? (see pic)
True, if you click Add to Cart, it adds one. but i think it should also be 1 in the box. how can I set the default value?

put this code on \app\design\frontend\default\modern\template\catalog\product\view\type/sipmle.html

and check the there will appear the 1 on text box

You can find that snippet in \app\design\frontend\xxx\xxx\template\catalog\product\view\addtocart.phtml in version 1.1. It still looks the same though

refresh magento catche and refresh whole system with the configuration in adim pannel with catche management options
