I have a somewhat strange request from a client. The site is not public. They want the users to sig-in before seeing the available product. The reason is certain products are sold to only a certain group of users. In other words;

There are 10 products.
Of these 3 are sold to customers in Group A
A different 3 are sold to customers from Group B
Etc.

So they want the user/customer to sing-in first. Then the available products are displayed and can be ordered.

I’m not seeing anyway to get Magento to do this. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

P-

u can use this code
<?php if($this->helper('customer')->isLoggedIn() ): ?>
to restrict ur users.
i mean by checking the user is logged in or not,
use this code for checking user in logged in or not on every page where u r showing the product
cheers
