I have created a set of simple chinese buttons and a little translation changes , base on official modern theme and translation, you can have a look at
http://www.cnflex.org/trac/browser/trunk/magento/theme/silver_theme
now the front-end are mostly translated.
you can download it by svn client from http://www.cnflex.org/source/trunk/magento/theme/silver_theme
the svn access user name and password is “guest”
It will always not a final version, you can keep track the repository for new updates, if you want to join the improvement , you are welcome to leave me a message.
for install it just copy the files to magento project source root dir is ok, then set the store locale to zh_cn and design option to use the “silver” theme, save and reload the front-end is OK. Enjoy it!
I also create a firework file to hold all buttons’ design for translation, and easy to export images from layers. who want it can contact me by email or come to my bbs(www.cnflex.org/bbs) to post a request! I think it well help a lot for design a set of new buttons.
