Hi All,

Hoping someone can help me hide the recently viewed products that appear after looking at a product. I’ve managed to move/hide many of the different bits like the poll, mini-cart etc, but can’t seem to find where the ‘recently viewed...’ is. I tried commenting out a reference to it in reports.xml, but it didn’t seem to make any difference. So far I haven’t been able to find another reference for it.

Thanx
Simo

Odd. reports.xml should work.  works when I comment it out for 1.1.1

What version of magento are you using?

Did you refresh your cache?

Are you editing the correct template directory file?

Thanx Seudo?

It might have been that I didn’t refresh the cache, or that I was commenting it out in /layout/reports.xml rather than template, but after commenting out the guts of templates/reports.html the pesky little sucker is no more.

Thanx again,
Cheers Simo

simo, I found another xml file you will want to change: catalog.xml

Search for product_viewed.phtml and comment it out.
