Hello, everybody

Do you know how to import ‘option’ via phpmyadmin?
I have imitated just like ‘tie price’ import way. All data can be find at the admin cpanel. I cann’t see the options unless I save each product again. Is there any other table associated except these talbe?

catalog_product_option
catalog_product_option_price
catalog_product_option_title
catalog_product_option_type_price
catalog_product_option_type_title
catalog_product_option_type_value

Need help! thanks a lot for any tip.

hey cooler,

i think what your saying is, you imported data, but its not showing up in the catalog front end?

Look at this post. Its could be that you need to run the cache management option to refresh indices… check this url towards the end of the thread

Hi Jacky,

Did you resolved your issue ? I’m having the same problem, I’ve added manually the right data into those table, to avoid creating the same option for 3000 products. I c’ant see these option in the product backend, and in the frontend I can’t order anymore, keep saying that I need to fill in mandatory option but I can’t see them on the product page. Tired the cache management solution without success…

Hello,

I’ve found where was the problem.

Along with the new records created in the Options tables, there is one record to update in the catalog_product_entity table, you have to update the has_option column value to 1. That way I can see now my options on the Back and Front end wink
