I have just done a full package upgrade to the latest 1.1.1 following the guide.
Everything went smoothly, so far.

The only problem I notice, however, the Cart Subtotal in the My Cart box on the top right corner is incorrect when I switch to another currency.

At the same time, although the currency symbol in the Recently Added Item(s) box changes correctly, the price itself isn’t changed accordingly.

However when I go to Shopping Cart, the price is correct.

I hope someone could help me in this. I can PM you my URL and you can easily see the problem.

I had the same problem.  Had to change app/design/frontend/default/YOUR TEMPLATE/checkout/cart/sidebar.phtml

Line 38 or so from this

to this:

This bug will only show up if you have more than one currency.
