Very new to Magento so go easy!

Will Magento allow the customer to choose delivery by the time scale in which the product is required?

So the customer can choose from say flat rate delivery per order:

Delivery within 1-3 working days £3.25
Guaranteed next day delivery on orders placed before 1pm £5.75
Guaranteed Saturday Morning delivery £7

I intend to use PayPal web payments standard but I’m sure I remember reading somewhere that options like those above maybe available with UK web site payments pro.

Many thanks in advance for your help

You could use my multiple flat rate extension for this: http://www.magentocommerce.com/extension/306/pickup-at-event--multiple-flatrates

No problem - if you need a modified version of it or an additional feature let me know - I work on it pretty frequently as time allows.

Hello Sherrie,

Thank you for the module. Searching high & low for this feature… however, is it possible for you to add in a feature where customer can choose a specific delivery date and time

the delivery time would be speific time period e.g 10-12pm , 2-4 pm , 6-8 pm.

Thanks !

That would involve adding a calendar to it ... I don’t see it happening any time soon, but I will add it to my list.  I honestly haven’t had a chance to work much on the extension lately.

Hi Sherrie,

I have two event rates i.e Normal Delivery and Express Delivery.

Normal Delivery ($8)

9-11am , 11am -1pm, 1-3pm, 3-5pm, 5-7pm, 7-10pm.

Express delivery ($12)
(For same day delivery, last order accepted at 6pm. Orders made after 6pm will be delivered by 11am the next morning. Orders made before 7am will also be delivered by 11am.)

Guarenteed delivery in 4 hrs, otherwise pay only $6!

Woudl it possible to add in a date field for customer to choose the dates and also radio button options for the different time slots

after they select the event?

Did you put the template files in the right place as listed in the instructions?
