Hi friends,
Magento was working correctly with one store and i decided to create another one, I mean, a shop for enterprises, so I added new categories not depending on Root Category but Enterprise Category, hanging Root.  EVerthing is correct, the index of the new store works correctly and shows the categories in the menu, but when I click on them, for instance http://localhost/magento/mobile-phone-enterprise, it doesn’t find the web, I get 404 error

Url rewritement is correct, I try to access to the category through the non-seo link, with ...catalog/category/view/id/47/category
and get the same error.

Categories are active and Anchor too.

Categories are created and ready to work, but it seems like if front-end don’t catch them. Did it happen to someone else? I have the latest version of Magento.

Thanks

Is there any problem with your .htaccess? You might want to check on it. wink

Thanks for your answer!
Yes I think it is correct. In Main Website I have two stores, and everyone has its own category root. In the first store I can read and access the categories, for instance, http://localhost/magento/category1, but in store2, if I want to access to http://localhost/magento/category9 I can’t, so I think the .htacess is correct (is the .htacces i root folder?)

The .htaccess should be in your /magento directory,

yes I checked that one, and I think it works fine. This is the .htacess:
############################################
## enable rewrites

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on

############################################
## you can put here your magento root folder
## path relative to web root

#RewriteBase /magento/

############################################
## workaround for HTTP authorization
## in CGI environment

RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization}]

############################################
## always send 404 on missing files in these folders

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/(media|skin|js)/

############################################
## never rewrite for existing files, directories and links

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-l

############################################
## rewrite everything else to index.php

RewriteRule .* index.php [L]

</IfModule>

The categories does show off, but the problem is when I click the link on other store that the default it always a 404 error. Firt store views work but not the second.
I dont understand I would like to start a new site but if I cant use a new store categories it useless.
