Disable automatic email notifications

Just imported a bunch of OsCommerce customers and were really shocked by the fact that each customer received an automatic email notification about having successfully subscribed to a newsletter. This has to be an extra configuration option which should be disabled by default as the current handling is just not acceptable. my2cent maxhb
