Magento

Hi,

I have a presentation website on one side whose aim is to publish content about music albums and artists. On the other side, i have a magento shop that sell these albums.
Is is possible to establish a link between those two sites (that are on the same server) by inserting a “You cart has xx products"-block on my content-website ?

I don’t see anything like this in the Magento Core API Documentation.
