Hi,

Does anyone know if you can mark individual options of a product ie: size option/colour option as out of stock rather than just the main product option as out of stock. I need this function for a site that sells clothing and we need to be able to still show the option sizes but would like to be able to show with an icon or text that the option is “out of stock” or “special order only”

It is not possible to mark individual options of a product in default magento. To make this possible, you need to overwrite the code in Magento in your local host to customize this option on your website.
