Hi all.

The first i’m sorry because my English, I’m vietnamese. I very impress with magento e-commerce system. But when i use CMS function, It’s too hard to me, I can’t design my page with raw-code. Now, I can design with MS FRONTPAGE, but if i have to write down some raw source, i can’t, it’s too inconvinient. I think one open source WYSIWYG toolbar editor is very useful and improve this our system.

Now I introduce2 opensource editor you can use it, and add it into your source for stable version.

download and test it here: http://www.solmetra.com/en/disp.php/en_products/en_spaw/en_spaw_download

In my opinion, I think the first tool is suitable.

TinyMCE and FCK Editor are the most popular open source solutions for editors, from what I heard.

Popular doesn’t meant the best unfortunately - they are heavy and don’t give me clean code for xhtml.
I think they are popular because there aren’t better option for CMS - just like OScommerce and Zencart are popular. Look here, now we have Magento we all love, and I think we need a WYSIWYG editor that is as good as Magento smile

Xstandard supports valid strict xhtml. Can we have Xstandard as one of the options please?
Lite version is free.

Also, is it possible to intergrate QuickEdit into Magento - it allows you to edit the content of your site right from the page.
I can’t find the QE site though therefor not sure if it’s Modx CMS- only module.

p/s. I prefer Textile or Markdown but love to give my clients Xstandard and QuickEdit smile

"WYSIWYG just doesn’t produce clean code” - I have to disagree. xstandard creates very clean standards based code - also - what about semantic tables. textile and markdown can not help here.
