can i increase the size of top navigation bar where i write furniture category?

hi all,

As magento use furniture in header top navigation.
i want to show the name of category in vertical way as i have to write furniture is the best product then
i want output as below:

furniture
is the
best
output

i want to show it in top navigation.
can anyone just tell me how should i achieve it?
