i want to sort my products on basis of my department attribute(i added it), like the product sorted by price attribute

so i want sort product on basis og my attribute

please help me

1. Catalog > Attributes > Manage Attributes

Click your department attribute

2. Properties > Attribute Properties

Make sure your Catalog Input Type for Store Owner is set to Dropdown, Multiple Select, or Price

3. Properties > Frontend Properties > Use in Layered Navigation

Set to Filterable

but in want the same pattern as shown in photo, where u can click on department attribute who shows in left part of layout as (shop by option) appears,
and when u click on one department then whole product that contain this department will list,
i hope u can understand what i want smile
please reply ASAP
