As it stands now, you can’t download using the link on the page that comes up after you select the version you want. It just downloads an index.html file: wget http://www.magentocommerce.com/getmagento/1.1.0/magento-1.1.0.tar.gz --2008-07-11 18:32:12-- http://www.magentocommerce.com/getmagento/1.1.0/magento-1.1.0.tar.gz Resolving www.magentocommerce.com... 208.69.122.7 Connecting to www.magentocommerce.com\|208.69.122.7\|:80... connected. It would help out tremendously for those that have created one-click installers and do manual installs all the time, e.g.: `http://www.magentocommerce.com/download/latest.tar.gz` The same goes for the sample data, a symlinked gzip of the latest sample data would be wonderful.
