I attempted to install the DirectResize extension through MagentoConnect and it seemed that all the files were installed properly, however on the Magento Connect screen under the community channel it shows a foreach error in the DirectResize row. There’s no option to uninstall it. How can I go about manually uninstalling the extension so that it doesn’t show up in the magento connect page?

nm found it. Along with removing the installed scripts in the app/code/community directory, I also removed a reg file in downloader/pearlib/php/.registry/.channel.connect.magentocommerce.com_community

How do you access the reg file? I have mine hosted and the Channel: connect.magentocommerce.com/community on the downloader only shows one extension with no option to reinstall or unistall.

you can delete file in folder app/etc/module
