I’ve been looking at Magento for a while now, thinking I would like to play with it, but I would like to know:
Can I extend each stores (assuming I have multiple stores) details easily or is this something which would require core modifications.
EDIT | Also, can I have each store use a separate payment gateway.
For example, one store might use their PayPal account and another might use it’s existing merchant account...can I add this functionality can you point me in the right direction?
EDIT 2 | Sorry for the changes but I’m reading the docs as we speak so more questions pop up. I think I only want ONE web site but multiple stores. The single web site should show all products from all stores but each store should have it’s own unique properties, like phone number, email, address, etc. Something like eBay where all products are shown based on filter criteria but clicking a product from company X might show similar products from company X or other related products.
