Moshe, thanks for the input i ran the database_reinstall.sql and update core_resource set version=’0.5.1’ where code=’log_setup’; finnaly i could get true the complete installation.

Now i got the option to go to the front end and the backend and on the front end i still get a warning about ‘Mysqli prepare error: Table ‘magento.tag_summary’ doesn’t exist’
ill go and try to exclude that part from the sql magento supplied me and reinstall it.

ill reply back later with the solution in steps.

Greetings Erwin.

i did the folowing,

i ran http://www.magentocommerce.com/support/mt-gs/database_reinstall.sql

after it i ran the sql statement : update core_resource set version=’0.5.1’ where code=’log_setup’;

i completed the installer and after that i had to reinstall 2 tables why i dont know but hey it all functions now:

--
-- Table structure for table `tag_relation`
--

DROP TABLE IF EXISTS `tag_relation`;
SET @saved_cs_client = @@character_set_client;
SET character_set_client = utf8;
CREATE TABLE `tag_relation` (
`tag_relation_id` int(11) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,
`tag_id` int(11) unsigned NOT NULL DEFAULT ‘0’,

LOCK TABLES `tag_relation` WRITE;
/*!40000 ALTER TABLE `tag_relation` DISABLE KEYS */;

and

DROP TABLE IF EXISTS `tag_summary`;
SET @saved_cs_client = @@character_set_client;
SET character_set_client = utf8;
CREATE TABLE `tag_summary` (

--

LOCK TABLES `tag_summary` WRITE;
/*!40000 ALTER TABLE `tag_summary` DISABLE KEYS */;
/*!40000 ALTER TABLE `tag_summary` ENABLE KEYS */;
UNLOCK TABLES;

Did anyone advance on this?

I downloaded the latest “beta” an hour ago and after I enter my database info, it gives me an exception with the “Mysqli prepare error: Table ‘magento.core_config_field’ doesn’t exist” error.

My PHP:
PHP 5.2.3 with Suhosin-Patch 0.9.6.2 (cli) (built: Jun 16 2007 23:34:48)

Btw, only the tables “core_layout” and “core_resource” are created. I double-checked all logs etc..

Along with the error, at the bottom of the page it says:

Error in file: “/usr/home/foo/public_html/magento/app/code/core/Mage/Core/sql/core_setup/mysql4-upgrade-0.6.6-0.6.7.php” - Mysqli prepare error: Table ‘magento.core_config_field’ doesn’t exist’ in /usr/home/foo/public_html/magento/app/Mage.php:334

Hi till,

Could you try to install via pdo_mysql only ? Check this post for details.

Please let me know if it helps.

Thank you.
