Can you please try the latest 1.1 Beta through SVN ?

Most of the issues mentioned above should go away once you set ‘Use categories path for product URLs’ (System -> Configuration -> Catalog -> Search Engine Optimizations) to ‘No’.

Please let us know if there are any problems there.

Yes we are, and we are trying to fix them.

Btw 1.1 SVN branch was updated today with a few more SEO-related fixes. I’d greatly appreciate any feedback on that.

Its good to see the team looking into this.

You can find the full list at http://svn.magentocommerce.com/source/branches/1.1-trunk/STATUS.txt or check the SVN log to see which ones were fixed recently.

big? it’s completely anti-SEO. My productpages are nowhere to be found in google since i migrated to magento..... Magento really needs to fix this problem before they can call it seo-friendly.

The ONLY REAL SEO cart is SearchFit......use them if you want a good PR, you cannot expect a great SEO cart from open source.

Ha ha.  what a loser.  advertisers need to advertise, and not post lame comments in forums about their own products.  there are lots of good seo carts.  heck, i dont even need an seo cart to rank.
