Hi Guys,

I just upgraded to the latest version and was having this problem too.

I found out what was causing it by playing about with my config.xml file - pdo_mysql wasn’t installed on my server

If you don;t have access to your server’s php.ini file then I’d suggest you use the php5 cgi binary as explained in this knowledgebase post:
http://www.magentocommerce.com/knowledge-base/entry/installing-magento-on-a-php4-server

I am have the same problem.  However i do have access to my server and install all mod.

I am using pdo_mysql.  I have tried with mysqli and no success.
